I’m so excited to share Maureen and Christopher’s joyful St. Ann’s Wedding & Virginia Cliffe Inn Reception. The church, filled with lush florals and deep faith, set the tone for a day full of love and meaningful moments—from the heartfelt processional to their joyful walk back up the aisle as husband and wife.
As the full Catholic Mass began, loved ones gathered in prayer, song, and Eucharist—a beautiful blessing for Maureen and Christopher’s marriage. Additionally, Maureen and her father helped with communion, adding a personal and tender touch to the sacred ceremony. The homily offered heartfelt encouragement and meaningful guidance for their new life as husband and wife.
After the ceremony, everyone continued the festivities at the elegant Virginia Cliffe Inn. Surrounded by picturesque gardens and a charming manor house as a backdrop, guests gathered for cocktail hour under the afternoon sun. Maureen and Christopher made a joyful entrance into cocktail hour through a shower of bubbles, setting the tone for a lively celebration.
Following cocktail hour, Maureen and Christopher danced their beautifully choreographed first dance which perfectly reflected their joy and connection.
After dinner, the couple had a special treat for everyone – an ice cream truck for dessert. Maureen & Christopher enjoyed a quiet, private moment where they fed each other their favorite flavors before returning to the party.
Throughout the day, family was clearly at the center of this celebration. Maureen’s bridesmaids were her two sisters, creating an incredibly close and supportive trio. Maureen also requested extra time for photos with her mom — especially important after a very difficult year. Meanwhile, Christopher stood alongside his best man, a lifelong friend of 15 years, sharing laughs and reminiscing as they celebrated this unforgettable occasion.
One of the most memorable and personal details from the day were the custom high-top blue Converse sneakers worn by the bride and her bridesmaids. Maureen and her sisters changed into these for the reception! Both of Maureen’s sisters had their own dog lovingly embroidered on their shoes, adding a unique and sentimental touch to their look. The bride’s pair featured her and Chris’s beloved golden retriever, Bailey. It was the perfect combination of comfort, personality, and heart—and the shoes looked adorable peeking out from beneath their dresses.
As a surprise for Maureen, a soccer ball-themed cake was brought out to celebrate her team’s incredible Class 1 State Champions win earlier this month. Not only is Maureen a dedicated teacher she is also the head soccer coach at West Point Public Schools. And a big CONGRATULATIONS to Maureen for being chosen Super-Region 1A/1B Coach of the Year! The surprise cake had Maureen beaming, and it was a wonderful way to honor these accomplishments on such a memorable day.
At the reception, guests enjoyed playing corn hole on custom boards that added a special personal touch to the celebration. These boards were painted by Maureen’s sister and were a fun activity but also a heartfelt gift. They were both a playful and sentimental addition to the day.
Congratulations to this sweet couple — Maureen and Christopher! Here’s to a lifetime of joy together! ✨
