I am so excited to share Grace and Jeff’s Wedding at The Eighty Four in Floyd, Virginia! It was truly beautiful, and I wanted to do a happy dance while I photographed Grace getting ready.
Grace wanted a bridal session before the wedding, and I was ecstatic to see the bridal suite. I can tell Allie, one of the owners of the Eighty Four, put a lot of thought into its design.
Grace had a bridal hanger specially made for her special day and she asked me to photograph it with her daughter’s dress. It was so adorable to see them hanging beside each other. Check that out below!
Grace’s Mom, Vanessa, her MOH, Cierra, and her grandmother along with other family members, helped her dress! The best part was when her mother looked at me after she was dressed and said, “I made that!” Ah, a very proud Momma and when you see her portraits you will certainly know why!
I photographed her while opening her card and gift from Jeff. She laughed after opening the card as she said Jeff had purchased a card that was meant for someone to give to a couple, but he crossed out certain parts and changed it to be from him. How cute! And then her gift! I can tell Grace loves jewelry and was very happy to see Jeff had thoughtfully purchased a necklace she loved!
Grace wanted a first look with her Dad, and I love photographing Daddy-Daughter First looks. Dads always get so emotional when they see their baby girl all grown up and dressed so beautifully. Keith was no exception, and he teared up when he saw her. I love it!
Grace & Jeff’s ceremony was incredibly sweet, and I loved the florals they chose to line the aisle. It was gorgeous! And her bouquet was simply stunning!
Grace and Jeff started their reception with their first dance which was followed by her and her Dad’s first dance. Lenora, the couple’s daughter, quickly became a part of the Daddy-Daughter dance. It was so endearing to see Keith dance with not only his daughter but his granddaughter as well!
I normally am starving by the time I get to eat at the reception and I am pretty happy with whatever they serve. But seriously, the food at Grace & Jeff’s Wedding reception was absolutely delightful! Their caterer was an actual chef dressed in his official uniform including the hat! Y’all it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had at a wedding! If you get the chance to try On Site Culinary, you will not be disappointed! I could have eaten another plate full of food but I was afraid I would be in the corner napping if I did. I’m still dreaming about the food!
And their portraits at sunset were so much fun. Allie took us into the pasture behind the venue and we had donkeys to chaperone us! They love making themselves part of the photos!
Grace and Jeff ended their reception with a bubble exit which was so pretty. I planned to have them walk the opposite way but Grace asked if we could reverse it so you could see their Buchinsky sign! It was a great idea and I love seeing it in the background!
Can you tell I loved this wedding, I did! Grace thoughtfully created a lovely experience for her and her new husband as well as her guests!
Enjoy Grace & Jeff’s Wedding at the Eighty Four and Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Buchinsky! It was truly my honor to document your special day!
