Photographing young kids can be quite a challenge! My two youngest grandkids Sawyer and Sully have proven to be just that but I’m super excited about the Critzer family beach session! I FINALLY got pictures of the two of them together and with their parents that I LOVE!
Kiersten (our daughter) always says she just wants one good photo. You would think that would be easy but it hasn’t been in the past. This year was the year! Last year Sawyer wouldn’t smile for me no matter what we tried, Sully was great but Sawyer wasn’t having it and I felt defeated. This year I got a bunch of good ones even though Sully proved to be the challenge! Their auntie Courtney bribed them with stickers and I’m not sure we would have gotten these without her! She is a kid whisperer and you’ll notice the stickers in the photos!
Sawyer is the quiet one whereas Sully is the energetic wild one! It always amazes me how much siblings can differ in their personalities and these two are no exception! But one thing they do have in common is they love the beach. I’m thinking they got that from their Grandpa Holmes. Michael loves the beach more than anyone I’ve ever met and if he has any say these two will also!
What is really sweet is seeing how much they love their parents! Sawyer is definitely a Mama’s boy and Sully loves his Daddy! Kiersten and Trey love being their parents and it is a joy to watch them parent.
Kiersten has started painting over the last few months and has started selling her artwork! Trey continues to be a full-time pastor in Mechanicsville. Michael and I are super proud watching them with these two and seeing their success.
Enjoy the Critzer family beach session! And check out the couple portraits! Kiersten and Trey are always so fun to photograph and never disappoint!
