Rustic Fall Weddings are such a treat, especially this one at Rivercrest Farm in Elkton, Virginia! It was truly my pleasure to document it!

How They Met

I met Morgan and Jordan a couple of months before their wedding at their engagement session. It was obvious from the beginning how much they adore each other. Morgan met Jordan while hanging out with friends. Jordan instantly “fell for her” and she thought he was a cutie. But, it took her 3 years to fall for him! She says “Jordan is a hard worker and very respectful to her and others”. He says “Morgan has such a heart for him and he knows she will take care of him”. 

The Wedding

Morgan & Jordan’s wedding day was perfect! The weather forecast originally called for rain but fortunately, it changed. The day was a bit windy but it was also bright and beautiful. Michael and I arrived in the morning to find Morgan and her bridesmaids happily having their hair and makeup done. Jordan was hanging out with his groomsmen.

The ceremony was held at the church Morgan grew up in and was so sweet! Their ring bearer and flower girl played on the stairs while they exchanged rings. Morgan was really nervous but you could tell how excited she was to be marrying Jordan, her soul mate!

The Reception

The reception was held at Rivercrest Farm and matched perfectly with Morgan’s rustic theme – a charming barn with a mountain view in the background. It provided for gorgeous bride and groom portraits!

Their reception was full of so many rustic details. I could tell how much time and attention was put into making it perfect! Their details down to the pumpkins and bags of popcorn were so well thought out and just right for a fall wedding. Their cake was tree-inspired with pink and ivory flowers adorning it and the sweetest heart in the middle with their initials in the center.

Congratulations Morgan and Jordan I hope you have many many years of wedded bliss!!
